How to Order

Choose the size, and format of your canvas.

Choose the style of your artwork. With some of the categories, if there is a particular example on the site that you like, you can make a note of the reference code to enter on the order form. Alternatively, if you would like a bespoke artwork, please consider your requirements. If you would like your artwork styled in a contemporary manner, consider whether you have any particular preferences or ideas in terms of colours, style etc. For example if you are matching an existing colour scheme.

Make sure you read the ‘Information’ section, it is there to help you select the most suitable original artwork, and make the production process as smooth as possible.

Download and complete the appropriate booking form. Make sure that you take great care to ensure that all information is accurate and legible, as we cannot be held responsible for any errors that you have made.

Scan your artwork, and send it to us as an attachment to an email. Make sure you scan it at a minimum of 300dpi, and save it in JPEG format. Alternatively you may send it by post if you prefer. Do not fold the artwork, either roll it or send in a stiffened envelope. Please write your name and address on the reverse in pencil, and also indicate on the reverse of the artwork itself which way up it is meant to be. Please send a deposit of £10 by cheque to the address above. Cheques should be made payable to: Artful Kids. Please note that work cannot begin until the cheque has been received. The value of the deposit will be deducted from your final invoice.

We will send you a confirmation email on receipt of your order form. A digital proof will be sent to you within a week of confirmation for approval. If you decide not to go ahead at this stage, your order will be cancelled, and your deposit returned to you. Alternatively, any amendments you wish to make will be implemented, and a further proof sent for approval, along with an invoice for your remaining payment. (Please note that we reserve the right to charge for additional proofs where extensive or repeated changes are required).

Once we have your approval, and you have sent your cheque for the remaining payment, we then create and despatch your artwork, and send a confirmation email to inform you. Frames and canvases are securely packed in bubble wrap and cardboard. Unframed prints are sent rolled in a cardboard mailing tube. Artwork is despatched first class recorded delivery for smaller items, and by Parcelforce for larger items. If you have sent us your original artwork by post, this will be returned to you at the same time. We aim to make sure that all artwork is received by you within 28 days, and normally much sooner. However, please note that we are unable to despatch orders until final payment has been received and cleared.
